features, like the Devil's Garden, a mind-boggling assortment of arches, Hoo Doo's
pinnacles and other sandstone sculptures.
There's also the Escalante River with its twisting red rock
canyons, 126-foot Calf Creek Falls, the Burr Trail, Hole-in-the-Rock Road, Grosvenor Arch,
the Cockscomb formation and more. Not to me missed are examples of ancient Native American
rock art, a mute and magnificent evidence of previous civilizations. Picnic sites and
restrooms are found here. WHERE?? Picnic site at Devils Garden and Calf Creek Recreation
Area. These areas have restrooms also. Campgrounds at Calf Creek, Deer Creek, Posey Lake,
Blue Spruce and along hiway 12 between Boulder and Torrey.
